Today was one of those days that felt soft and steady — the kind that gently carries you from one moment to the next.
My day started with work, followed by a session with my physiotherapist (slowly healing, one stretch at a time). After coming home, I cleaned the kitchen, caught up on laundry, and prepared a warm, nourishing dinner for my family: tomato and giya soup with pasta — a cozy bowl of goodness on a cool day.
💻 A Dance Party with a Dash of Code
Later in the evening, I explored a coding activity with my boys as part of my EDTC 300 course. What started as a simple screen-time task quickly turned into a full-blown dance party! 💃🕺
Watching my kids light up while experimenting with creativity, logic, and movement was such a joyful moment. It reminded me how powerful learning can be when it feels like play — and how much I enjoy discovering alongside them, not just guiding them.

🧑🏫 Revisiting My Teacher Heart with Magic School
As a former teacher, I also explored a tool that brought back such wonderful memories: Magic School — an AI-powered platform that supports educators in creating lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and more.
I asked the tool to generate a lesson plan, and I was honestly amazed. The way it understands instructional design, while saving time for teachers, felt like a blessing — and it made me quietly proud of staying connected to my roots in education.

🎬 The Moment I Missed… and Why I’m Still Grateful
Fridays are usually movie night in our home — the one time each week where the couch is full, popcorn is popping, and laughter fills the room.
But tonight, I missed it.
My husband and kids went ahead without me while I worked on my learning blog. And though a part of me missed snuggling in beside them, another part of me knew I was choosing something deeply meaningful.
This journey — of reflection, growth, and showing up for my goals — is important. And I’m thankful for the quiet support my family gives me, even when I have to step away.
🌸 Closing Thoughts
Today reminded me that progress doesn’t always look dramatic.
Sometimes, it looks like soup simmering on the stove, kids giggling at code, and a mom quietly typing on her laptop while her family watches a movie.
To my mentors, teachers, and friends who read this — thank you. Your influence is still alive in my choices today.
