Today flowed with the soft rhythm of home and heart. The morning began with a quick visit for my blood work — one of those regular things we do to care for our health.
Back home, I dived into weekend chores: cleaning the house, cooking lunch, and even giving myself a little time. That quiet self-care moment made me feel both grounded and grateful.
Later, I spent time with my younger son. We explored the world of creativity through Code.org’s dance project, and I was amazed by how beautifully he brought movement to music:

And yes — I had baking left to do! I made two more colorful cakes to wrap up my course project.
The swril marbel cupcakes came out like little bursts of childhood joy — pastel swirls topped with cream and bright red cherries.
The red valvet cake Soft, rich, and exactly what my tired heart needed.

For dinner, we headed out as a family — a little surprise by my husband. That dinner out felt like a sweet exhale to a long, full day.
And now,
it’s night.
The house is quiet. I’ve finished the rest of my course tasks. My eyes are tired, but i am feeling greatful for the beautiful day to almighty.
