🌟 When You Push Through: A Day of Effort, Reflection, and Unexpected Inspiration

By

I didn’t write a blog post yesterday.
Not because I forgot, but because I gave all my energy to the final submission of my EDTC 300 course. It was the last day, and creating that summary of learning video took every ounce of focus I had. I ended the night completely exhausted—mind buzzing, body heavy, but heart full.

ā˜€ļø Starting Late but Showing Up

After a long night, I slept in this morning.
But when I woke up, I showed up.
I made breakfast, packed lunch for my husband and kids, and then got ready for work—tired, but steady.

Worked my shift from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., then went straight to a professional event I’d registered for:

šŸ“ President Keshen’s Executive Networking Event hosted by the Regina Chamber of Commerce and University of Regina.

šŸ—£ļø From Hesitant to Inspired

Walking into that room, I’ll admit—I felt a little out of place.
There were executives from SaskPower, SGI, Innovation Saskatchewan, and more. Everyone seemed so polished, so accomplished.
And here I was… unsure if I should step forward or step back.

But then I listened.
To their stories.
To their struggles.
To the way they spoke with honesty and openness.
And slowly, that hesitation started melting.

This wasn’t just about networking.
It was about realizing that everyone starts somewhere—and courage often comes quietly.

šŸ’” A New Spark

As I reflect tonight, I want to share someone who deeply inspired me this week: Bhavana Singh.
Her clarity, confidence, and calm presence reminded me of the kind of woman I’m becoming—one who shows up with both softness and strength.

From now on, I want my blog to reflect that voice more and more.

✨ Closing the Day with Hope

After coming home, I caught up on some emails and checked off a few more to-dos. It wasn’t a flashy day. But it was real, and brave in its own quiet way.

I didn’t just go to work.
I didn’t just attend a program.
I stood in a room I once found intimidating—and left feeling inspired.

And that, to me, is growth.

šŸ’¬ What about you?
Have you ever walked into a room that made you hesitate—but walked out stronger?
Let’s share stories that build each other up.
