✨ Day 1 – No Sugar, No Cry… Kind Of 

“This is what strength looks like on a plate (and in a mug!)”

I’ve done this before—started healthy habits, tracked them for a few days… and then waved goodbye like a sweet emotional breakup  with zero closure (usually while biting into something gooey and delicious ). But this time—it’s not just a try.

 It’s a 21-day sugar-free challenge. A promise to myself.
 A journey to reclaim power from those tiny white crystals that sneak into everything.

 My Sweet Tooth Reality

As someone who’s spent most of her adult life loving everything meetha (from chai-biscuits to laddoos), this is a real test. My evenings usually whispered, “A little chocolate won’t hurt,” and I replied, “You’re right, sweet devil.” 

But not this time. I’m stepping into this challenge because:

I’m done with the crashes and cravings.

I want energy that lasts, not a sugar high.

I want to feel strong, confident, and glow from the inside out.

☕ The Morning That Set the Tone

Started my day like a queen:
✅ 2 glasses of warm water 
✅ Black coffee with cinnamon and ghee (my new bitter-sweet bestie ☕)

️ Breakfast Beauty

I prepped my blueberry yogurt bowl the night before with:

Unsweetened Greek yogurt

Chia seeds

Cinnamon

Apple chunks

Blueberries

Yup, I was basically a food blogger by 9 a.m. 邏

綾 Lunch Power

Aloo-matar (potato & green peas curry) with cucumber salad.
Roasted chana for a crunchy, protein-filled snack.
Simple. Filling. Comforting. And… NO SUGAR! 

 Evening Crash (But I Survived!)

By 6 PM I was done.
Long workday. Hungry. Tired. Brain-fogged.
I had class at the university, and trust me—this was my weak zone.

The old me would’ve grabbed a muffin or chai. But new me?
Walked into Subway and made the most boring but victorious salad ever 綾 + black coffee. And I walked out with pride.

Final Thoughts

Not gonna lie—it wasn’t perfect. I wanted sugar. I dreamed of something sweet.

But I also felt in control.

My Day 1 weight: 73.8 kg
Mood: “Sassy but stable”
Win: I showed up for myself. No cheat. No guilt.
