🌸 Day 5 – Yoga, Cravings & Kitty Party Realizations

“Some days are not about perfection. They’re about staying with your promise, even when it’s hard.” 💛

🌅 Morning Start: Heavy Heart, Grounded Mind

My day began like usual — warm saunf & ajwain water, followed by my usual black coffee with cinnamon ☕.
But then came a long, emotionally heavy phone conversation with family. The kind that leaves your chest tight and your mood shaky.

Instead of letting that define my day, I made a conscious shift —
I got ready, picked up my yoga mat, and headed to my Oxygen Yoga class. 🧘‍♀️

🧘‍♀️ Oxygen Yoga & Freedom Class:

Today’s class was called “Yoga & Freedom.”
How fitting, right? Freedom from old patterns. Freedom from sugar. Freedom from emotional overwhelm.

I moved. I breathed. I stretched through the tension — and left feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to myself again.

“I didn’t need sugar today. I needed space. I needed breath.”

🍽️ Breakfast: Warm Simplicity

After yoga, I came home and had a warm oat chilla.
It wasn’t fancy. But it felt wholesome. Grounded. Right.

And sometimes, that’s all we really need.

🧁 Kitty Party — Sweet Temptations, Savvy Choices

Yes, I had a kitty party with friends today. And YES — the table was full of sugary temptations and snacks calling my name 😅
But I surprised myself:

✔️ Practiced portion control
✔️ Skipped desserts
✔️ Sipped salted lassi instead of chai or soda
✔️ Ate mindfully, not emotionally

And you know the strangest part?
I didn’t enjoy the outside food. My body didn’t feel good after it.
That moment made me realize — my taste buds are changing. My standards are rising.

“It wasn’t the food that changed. It was me.”

🌙 Dinner: Cocoa Oats… Kind Of Meh 😅

After the party food, I wanted to balance things out. So I made:

  • Oats boiled in milk
  • With cocoa powder, dates, and dry fruits

It didn’t taste great, honestly.
It wasn’t indulgent. It was just… a placeholder. A small act of fulfillment to stay on track.
And that’s okay. Not every meal has to be magic — some meals are just commitment in a bowl.

“Discipline doesn’t always feel delicious. But it always feels right.”

🪞Emotional Check-In: The Little Voice

I’ll be honest… by evening I felt a little off.
Grumpy. A bit defeated. That voice showed up again —
“Am I doing enough?”
“Is this even worth it?”

But I chose to keep going.
✔️ Didn’t eat out of emotion
✔️ Didn’t skip writing this blog
✔️ Didn’t let a wobbly mood break my promise

🌟 Day 5 Wins

✅ Black coffee + yoga = grounded
✅ Oat chilla breakfast
✅ Kitty party without sugar
✅ Salted lassi over sugary drinks
✅ Honest dinner (even if it wasn’t yum)
✅ Emotional awareness without giving up

“Growth doesn’t always feel glamorous. But it always feels real.”

Day 5 reminded me that this challenge isn’t just about food. It’s about power over cravings, emotions, and autopilot habits.
And with each day, I feel closer to a version of me that feels proud, calm, and clear.
